In your web console, navigate to the main menu item 'Stores', and then to the drop down menu item 'Stores & POS Terminals'.
You'll see a list of your stores currently available.
Navigate to "Create" in the title bar, and this will bring up a new dialogue box for you to create your new store.
Enter a unique code for your store. Up to 10 characters.
Name your store, this will be shown on your dashboard, on your reports, and on your sales receipts
3) Tax Class
Choose from the dropdown menu whether your store is to be tax-exempt or taxable. The vast majority of stores are taxable but in some countries there can be charity shops or other outlets that are completely tax exempt. Note, this a setting for the whole store, and individual products can have different tax configurations applied. You can learn about how to add new tax classes here..
Give the address of your store. This will be shown on your sales receipts.
Give the appropriate email address of your store. This will be shown on your sales receipts.
Give the appropriate telephone number of your store. This will be shown on your sales receipts.
7) VAT Number
Enter your VAT Number. This will be shown on your sales receipts.
8) Range List
Select your appropriate range list from the dropdown menu. The default range list is fine unless you are planning to range products differently across your stores.
9) Local Currency
Choose the default currency your store will use from the dropdown menu.
Choose the default tender your store will use from the dropdown menu. You can read about adding new tenders here. The default tender should normally be the non-fixed amount cash tender for your default currency.
11) Checkbox - Base Amount Includes Tax
Enable this option if your store is based in a region where tax is included in the base prices. E.g. Europe. Some countries, e.g. US and Canada, add tax to the transaction sales value so for these countries the checkbox should be left empty.
12) Tax Region
Choose from the dropdown menu which tax region is appropriate for your new store. The tax region is a geographic location that has the same tax rules. You can learn about how to add new tax regions here.
13) Date Created
Defaulted to today's date and not changeable. This is used for report comparisons, and auditing history.
